Job Details: Speech and Language Therapists (2.6 WTE) required to start ASAP for the Adult SLT Team to support waiting list reduction, particularly for patients with long waits.
Assess and treat adults with a wide range of acquired communication and swallowing difficulties
Manage patients with progressive neurological conditions, stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, respiratory conditions, voice disorders, and dysphagia of unknown aetiology
Deliver assessment and intervention for communication, swallowing, and voice disorders
Provide care across clinics, care homes, community hospitals, and patients’ own homes
Delegate work to clinical assistants or newly qualified therapists where appropriate
Working Hours: Full time or Part time. Monday to Friday.
