About the Role
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the therapy service. This role involves delivering high-quality speech and language therapy assessment and intervention within an NHS setting, working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy assessment and treatment to adult patients.
Manage a caseload independently, delivering evidence-based interventions.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patient care and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust and HCPC standards.
Contribute to service delivery in line with clinical standards and best practice.
Skills & Experience
HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.
Relevant NHS experience at Band 6 level.
Strong communication, clinical reasoning and MDT working skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
Working Hours
Weekdays only.
09:00 – 17:00.
