Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust – Queen Mary’s, St Helier, with occasional home visits to Epsom, is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist. This role focuses on providing specialist paediatric speech and language therapy, including acute care and dysphagia management, to support patient communication and swallowing function.
Undertake comprehensive assessments and provide specialist speech and language therapy for paediatric patients
Deliver tailored intervention programmes for communication and swallowing difficulties, including dysphagia
Work across acute settings and provide home-based support when required
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Provide guidance, education, and support to families and caregivers to optimise outcomes
Maintain accurate records in line with professional and organisational standards
