This position involves delivering specialist assessments and interventions to enhance communication, swallowing, and overall functional outcomes.
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for adults with learning disabilities
Develop and implement personalised therapy plans to support communication and functional independence
Provide specialist interventions tailored to individual needs within inpatient settings
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers to ensure coordinated care
Advise and educate patients and carers on strategies to manage communication and swallowing difficulties
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in line with professional and trust standards
