To provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and intervention for adults with acquired speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties.
To work as an autonomous practitioner within the standards of professional practice stipulated by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)
To be proficient in managing a complex adult caseload of a variety of long-term conditions including dementia.
To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, initiating, participating and supporting line manager in team development and service improvement, ensuring that systems and processes are in place to deliver an efficient and effective service.
Skills/experience: Qualified SLT with a minimum of 2 years working at band 6 level. Experience working with an older adult patient cohort preferably in the NHS. Dysphagia training essential and must be clear on the CV. Previous experience of community working. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 16.30. Code: U.LIT1384.026002.B14707
