The post holder will be working as part of a busy Adult Community Speech and Language Therapy team based in North Kent, across a large geographical patch (Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Swale), carrying out assessment and intervention for patients mainly with dysphagia and some communication. Patient groups include dementia, elderly care, progressive neurological conditions, stroke, FND. The post holder will see patients in their own homes, nursing homes, community inpatient rehab wards, outpatient clinics and virtually as indicated. Must be a car driver with own vehicle. Knowledge of EMIS electronic records system desirable but not essential as some training can be given.
A fully remote Speech and Language Therapist will be considered for the role but would prefer candidates who can work face to face in the first instance.
Working hours: 08.30 – 16.30. 37.5 hours per week.
