Job Title: Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – Band 7 Area: South London NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Speech and Language Therapist required to start asap until substantive recruitment completed. Skills/experience: at least 3 years post qualification dysphagia/eating and drinking difficulty experience as a Speech and Language Therapist. Experience of working in the community and acute paediatric dysphagia settings.JD available on request:
– At a highly specialist level, to assess, diagnose, treat and discharge children/young people referred with speech, language, communication and eating & drinking problems.
– To work as a member of the Early Years, Primary and Secondary Teams to provide an efficient, effective and co-ordinated Speech and Language Therapy Service;
– To take a lead role for the EDD/CSN team, overseeing the caseload and providing clinical support for team members.
