Warrington Borough Council is committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred social work services. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Practitioner to lead and support social work teams, oversee complex cases, and contribute to practice improvement and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex casework: Manage and oversee complex or high-risk cases, providing direct intervention and ensuring safeguarding standards are met.
Provide professional supervision: Deliver reflective supervision, mentoring, and support to social workers and less experienced colleagues.
Contribute to service development: Participate in audits, practice reviews, and quality assurance activities to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with multi-agency partners: Work closely with health, education, legal, and other services to coordinate holistic care for children and families.
