This role focuses on supporting vulnerable teenagers and young people facing complex challenges such as exploitation, missing episodes, family breakdown, and mental health concerns. If you’re a skilled practitioner with a passion for adolescent-focused work and strong leadership abilities, this is a great opportunity to influence practice and outcomes in a forward-thinking authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex and high-risk adolescent cases, providing trauma-informed, relationship-based interventions that promote safety, stability, and positive development.
Support and mentor social workers, offering practice guidance, reflective supervision, and quality assurance across the team.
Champion multi-agency collaboration, working with youth offending, education, health, and early help services to build wraparound support for young people.
Drive continuous improvement, contributing to service development, audits, and embedding best practices in adolescent safeguarding and care planning.
