Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist – Band 6
Job details: Occupational Therapist required to cover vacancy within the paediatric service. The role focuses on undertaking Education, Health and Care (EHC) Needs Assessments for children and young people aged 0–19.
Undertake EHC Needs Assessments for children and young people aged 0–19
Administer formal and informal/non-standardised occupational therapy assessments
Complete detailed assessment reports to inform EHC plans
Carry out assessments within mainstream school settings
Work collaboratively with families, schools and multidisciplinary professionals
Essential skills/experience:
Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration
Experience undertaking EHC Needs Assessments and report writing
