Job details:  Inpatient Rehabilitation Ward. To start asap. Occupational Therapist required to work between 2 In-Patient Rehabilitation Wards (17 bed wards). The roles of the Occupational Therapist include:

• Assessing new patients admitted to the ward for inpatient rehabilitation. Inclusive of a functional assessment, careful consideration of home environment and subsequent discharge planning and goal setting.
• Forming and implementing treatment plans, supporting with rehabilitation
• Supporting junior members of staff, including delegation and supervisory responsibilities.
• To attend multidisciplinary team meetings, whiteboard meetings and remote meetings discussing patient flow. To have oversight of the ward to enable this.
• Supported by a Band 7 Line manager.

Working hours: up to 37.5 hours per week. Part time also available. Monday to Friday. Flexible on request.
