Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist– Band 5/6 Area: Cambridgeshire NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Inpatient Rehabilitation Ward. To start asap. Occupational Therapist required to work between 2 In-Patient Rehabilitation Wards (17 bed wards). The roles of the Occupational Therapist include:
Assessing new patients admitted to the ward for inpatient rehabilitation. Inclusive of a functional assessment, careful consideration of home environment and subsequent discharge planning and goal setting.
Forming and implementing treatment plans, supporting with rehabilitation
Supporting junior members of staff, including delegation and supervisory responsibilities.
To attend multidisciplinary team meetings, whiteboard meetings and remote meetings discussing patient flow. To have oversight of the ward to enable this.
Supported by a Band 7 Line manager.
Working hours: up to 37.5 hours per week. Part time also available. Monday to Friday. Flexible on request. Code: U.C683. 025009.B13100
