Job Title: Band 6 RMN – CAMHS MARRS Team
Location: Victoria, Roche, Cornwall
Salary: Band 6 (NHSE capped rates)
Pay Rates:
- £26.50 per hour for weekdays
- £32.00 per hour for Saturdays
- £38.00 per hour for Sundays
Contract: Temporary, Full-Time, Long Day Only (opportunity for extra shifts)
Hours: Shifts as required, including long days (12.5-hour shifts, 13 shifts per month)
Mileage: Paid for any visits attended

Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Band 6 RMN to join our CAMHS MARRS Team based in Victoria, Roche, Cornwall. This role involves working as part of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team providing services for children and young people with mental health needs. The position is a full-time role with long day shifts (12.5 hours) and 13 shifts per month. You will be required to travel across Cornwall to attend multiple sites as part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care: Provide mental health assessments and interventions to children and young people in crisis, ensuring they receive appropriate care in a timely and compassionate manner.

Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams and external services to ensure seamless care delivery for young people with mental health issues.

Crisis Intervention: Participate in crisis management and risk assessments, providing de-escalation techniques and therapeutic interventions when needed.

Travel: Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel across Cornwall to attend multiple sites and provide support to service users across the region.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities in line with Trust guidelines.

Supervision: Provide clinical support to junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
Requirements
- CAMHS Experience: Previous experience within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) is essential.
- Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence and own transport is a requirement for this role, as you will be required to attend visits across Cornwall. Mileage will be reimbursed.
