Job Title: Adult Mental Health Team Manager

Tripod Partners is seeking an Adult Mental Health Team Manager to lead and manage services at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust in Witney. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to adults with mental health needs while driving service improvements and team development.

Position Details

  • Location: Witney, Oxfordshire
  • Pay Rate: £36.47 per hour
  • Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to work unsocial hours as required.
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, appraise, and develop team members while ensuring effective performance management.
  • Oversee budgets, policies, and quality standards for the service.
  • Manage staff workload, ensuring equitable distribution and high performance.

Service Development:

  • Lead initiatives to improve the quality of care and operational efficiency.
  • Foster innovation and develop new ways of working within the team.
  • Participate in research, audits, and quality improvement projects.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Ensure the team adheres to clinical governance standards and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Address complex clinical cases and provide guidance on risk assessments and care planning.
  • Support partnerships with other services, including inpatient wards and GP consortia.

Requirements

Essential:

  • RMN, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology qualification.
  • Significant experience in adult mental health services and team management.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.

Desirable:

  • Advanced assessment skills training.
  • Prince2 qualification or equivalent project management experience.
  • Postgraduate clinical or management qualifications.
