Job Title: Rehabilitation Officer Area: North West London Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Qualified rehabilitation officer with a Diploma in Rehabilitation Studies or equivalent, and an understanding of the needs of people with a visual impairment and dual sensory loss. The post holder will be able to develop and provide rehabilitation services that include orientation and mobility training, living skills training and communication skills to enable independence, choice, and dignity. The post will also provide the opportunity to develop skills in providing services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people. There is an opportunity to further professional development through joint working with other professionals as well as participating as a member of a team of dedicated workers who are committed to providing a high quality, sensory impairment service to a diverse and dynamic community.
