Deliver statutory social work services for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, supporting children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children teams.
Undertake strengths-based assessments under the Children Act 1989, ensuring timely, child-centred planning that promotes safety, stability, and wellbeing.
Build meaningful relationships with children and families to support sustained positive change and ensure the child’s voice informs all decisions.
Manage a diverse and sometimes complex caseload, including court work, permanency planning, and multi-agency coordination.
Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, statutory reviews, and family court proceedings.
Participate in supervision, team learning, and continuous professional development in line with Social Work England registration standards and local expectations.
