Undertake statutory social work responsibilities for East Riding of Yorkshire Council, supporting children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children services.
Manage a varied caseload, conducting timely and thorough assessments under the Children Act 1989 to inform effective and child-focused care planning.
Build meaningful relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all planning and decision-making.
Prepare and present clear, analytical, and evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, statutory reviews, and court proceedings.
Collaborate with professionals from education, health, and other services to coordinate multi-agency safeguarding responses and interventions.
Engage in regular supervision, reflective practice, and continuous professional development to maintain high-quality practice across East Riding’s Children’s Services.
