Fulfil statutory responsibilities for BCP Council, working with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.
Complete high-quality assessments under the Children Act 1989, ensuring timely interventions and plans that focus on safety, stability, and long-term outcomes.
Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, ensuring the child’s voice is at the centre of all decisions and care planning.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, statutory reviews, and court proceedings, in line with local and national requirements.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to deliver coordinated safeguarding and early help interventions tailored to each child’s needs.
Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and continuous professional development to uphold high standards in BCP Council’s Children’s Services.
