Deliver statutory social work duties for Cheshire East Council, supporting children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.
Manage a diverse caseload, conducting timely and high-quality assessments under the Children Act 1989, and developing clear, outcome-focused care plans.
Build meaningful relationships with children and their families, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all assessment, planning, and intervention processes.
Prepare detailed, evidence-based reports for court proceedings, child protection conferences, and looked after reviews in line with statutory requirements.
Work collaboratively with professionals from health, education, and voluntary sectors to deliver coordinated and effective safeguarding interventions.
Participate in supervision, continuous professional development, and reflective practice to uphold high standards within Cheshire East’s Children’s Services.
