Fulfil statutory responsibilities for Hull City Council, working with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.
Manage a varied caseload, undertaking high-quality assessments under the Children Act 1989 and producing clear, outcome-focused plans.
Build effective relationships with children and families, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all decision-making and care planning.
Prepare and present evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, LAC reviews, and court proceedings, adhering to statutory timescales and standards.
Collaborate with a wide range of professionals across health, education, and voluntary sectors to provide coordinated and effective safeguarding interventions.
Participate in regular supervision, training, and development opportunities to maintain professional standards and support continuous improvement in Hull’s Children’s Services.
