Deliver statutory responsibilities for Middlesbrough Council, supporting children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children frameworks in accordance with the Children Act 1989 and 2004.
Manage a diverse caseload, carrying out high-quality assessments and developing care plans that are timely, strengths-based, and tailored to individual needs.
Build meaningful relationships with children and families, ensuring their voices and experiences shape all assessments, planning, and decision-making.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for case conferences, Looked After reviews, and court proceedings, ensuring legal and procedural compliance.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to coordinate safeguarding interventions and provide holistic, outcome-focused support.
Participate in supervision, reflective practice, and continuing professional development to uphold high standards within Middlesbrough Council’s Children’s Services.
