Carry out statutory duties for Cheshire East Council under the Children Act 1989 and 2004, working with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After frameworks.
Manage a diverse caseload, completing high-quality assessments and developing care plans that are timely, child-centred, and outcome-focused.
Build effective relationships with children, young people, and families, ensuring their voices are central to all planning, decision-making, and interventions.
Prepare analytical reports and maintain accurate case records for reviews, child protection conferences, and legal proceedings, in line with statutory and local authority requirements.
Collaborate with multi-agency professionals across health, education, and justice to coordinate safeguarding and support plans that promote safety and stability.
Engage in supervision, reflective practice, and continuous professional development to maintain high standards and support service improvement within Cheshire East Council.
