Deliver statutory social work duties on behalf of North Tyneside Council, ensuring high-quality, strengths-based support to individuals and families in line with relevant legislation.
Manage a diverse and complex caseload, conducting assessments, developing care/support plans, and implementing interventions to meet identified needs and achieve positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate case records and prepare analytical reports for use in reviews, multi-agency meetings, and legal proceedings as required.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies, including health, education, housing, and voluntary sector partners, to ensure coordinated, effective support.
Respond to safeguarding concerns, undertaking enquiries and contributing to protection planning in line with statutory frameworks and council procedures.
Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development to maintain high standards and support continuous service improvement.
