Carry out statutory assessments and interventions on behalf of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, working with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After frameworks.
Manage a diverse caseload, delivering timely, strengths-based, and child-centred interventions to safeguard children and promote their wellbeing.
Develop, implement, and review care and support plans, ensuring the child’s voice is heard and reflected throughout the assessment and planning process.
Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, looked after reviews, and court proceedings, ensuring compliance with legal standards and council policies.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, and professionals across health, education, and the voluntary sector to achieve positive outcomes.
Participate in regular supervision and professional development, contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards in practice across Children’s Services.
