Join Middlesbrough Borough Council to carry out statutory assessments for children and families in line with the Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children guidance.
Develop and implement outcome-focused care and protection plans that prioritise the safety, welfare, and long-term wellbeing of children.
Manage a complex and varied caseload, ensuring that all interventions are timely, proportionate, and in line with statutory responsibilities.
Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, participating in Section 47 enquiries, strategy meetings, child protection conferences, and court proceedings as needed.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners including education, health, police, and voluntary services to deliver integrated, child-centred support.
Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date case records in accordance with Social Work England standards and Middlesbrough Borough Council’s policies and procedures.
