We are looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join Oxfordshire County Council’s Children in Need (CIN) Team on a locum basis. This role focuses on supporting children and families through targeted interventions, safeguarding practice, and robust care planning to improve outcomes and reduce risks. The successful candidate will be confident in managing a busy caseload, conducting thorough assessments, and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families in line with statutory requirements.
Develop and implement CIN plans to address identified needs and risks.
Monitor progress through regular visits, reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
Work closely with families to promote positive change, resilience, and improved outcomes for children.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for reviews, conferences, and court where necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in line with legislation, policy, and local authority procedures.
