As a Social Worker in the CP and CIN teams, you will work in a supportive environment that values professional development, reflective practice, and strong multi-agency collaboration. You’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding children, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention under Child in Need and Child Protection plans, ensuring timely assessments and reviews.
Undertake Section 47 enquiries and contribute to strategy discussions, core groups, and case conferences to safeguard children at risk of significant harm.
Develop and implement care plans that are child-focused, evidence-based, and outcome-driven, in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
Prepare high-quality reports for court proceedings and attend court as required, ensuring all documentation meets legal and procedural standards.
Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, police, and other agencies to provide holistic support and improve outcomes for children.
Engage in regular supervision and continuous professional development through Knowsley’s Social Work Academy, promoting reflective practice and resilience.
