Lambeth Council is looking for an experienced and detail-focused Locum Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Children’s Services in an Auditing capacity. This role involves reviewing casework, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting high standards of practice across the service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in frontline children’s social work and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth audits of children’s social care cases, reviewing assessments, plans, and interventions.
Identify strengths, gaps, and areas for development in casework and service delivery.
Provide clear written feedback and contribute to learning loops across teams.
Work closely with team managers and practitioners to promote reflective practice and continuous improvement.
Ensure audits align with statutory requirements, inspection frameworks, and local policies.
Contribute to service-wide initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children and families.
