This role involves working directly with children and families to assess risk, develop protection plans, and ensure that children are kept safe from harm.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough child protection assessments: Undertake timely and comprehensive assessments in line with statutory guidance and best practice.
Develop and implement child protection plans: Work collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to ensure safety and positive outcomes.
Attend and contribute to child protection conferences: Present clear, professional reports and advocate for the child’s needs and rights.
Maintain accurate records and legal compliance: Ensure all documentation is up to date, reflective, and meets local and national safeguarding standards.
