We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults’ Safeguarding Team. This role involves leading safeguarding enquiries, working collaboratively with partner agencies, and ensuring adults receive timely, person-centred support that reflects their wishes and circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead statutory safeguarding enquiries: Undertake Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act 2014, assessing risk and coordinating effective protection plans.
Promote Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP): Ensure that safeguarding interventions are outcome-focused and guided by the views and choices of the individual.
Liaise with multi-agency partners: Collaborate with health services, police, housing, and care providers to deliver coordinated, effective safeguarding responses.
Maintain professional standards: Ensure compliance with legislation and council procedures, and contribute to reflective practice, case audits, and service development.
