These roles primarily focus on undertaking a variety of assessment duties across adult and children’s social care, including safeguarding investigations, care planning, and multi-agency collaboration. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced social workers to gain diverse experience in a supportive local authority setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for children and adults in need, in line with statutory frameworks such as the Children Act 1989 and Care Act 2014.
Undertake safeguarding enquiries to protect vulnerable adults and children from abuse and neglect.
Develop and review care and support plans tailored to individual needs and risks.
Work collaboratively with health, education, housing, and voluntary sector partners to coordinate support.
Maintain clear, accurate, and timely case records in compliance with Staffordshire County Council policies and statutory requirements.
