Introduction:
We are looking for a proactive and compassionate Children in Need (CIN) Social Worker to join our team. This role focuses on supporting children and families where there are concerns about a child’s development, safety, or well-being, but where the threshold for child protection has not been met. The successful candidate will be committed to early intervention and family-centered practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake assessments and develop CIN plans in partnership with children and their families, ensuring needs are clearly identified and addressed.
Provide direct support and interventions to children and families to reduce risks and promote positive change, using a strengths-based approach.
Review and monitor progress regularly, updating plans as needed and escalating concerns where necessary to safeguard the child.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including education, health, and early help services, to coordinate support effectively.
