Assignment Info

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Shift Schedule: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights (includes weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties as needed)

• Start Date: TBD (Allow ~14 days for onboarding)

• Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week

• OT Pay: After 40 hours

Pay Package (Weekly, 48 hrs Guaranteed)

• Total Gross: $3,122.00

• Taxable Income: $1,638.00 ($31.50/hr up to 40 hrs)

• Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,484.00

• Overtime Rate: $47.25/hr

 Job Duties

• Conduct intake assessments with patients and relatives to gather case history

• Provide nursing care and make diagnoses related to medical and emotional status

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to develop treatment plans

• Administer and monitor psychotropic drugs and medications

• Educate patients about emotional disturbances and treatment needs

• Maintain a safe, secure environment for patients and staff

• Record vitals, monitor pain, and ensure proper pain treatment

• Document all care and maintain accurate records

• Assist with administrative duties and ensure courteous service to patients

Requirements

• License: Active NY RN License

• Certifications: BLS (AHA only), CPI

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in psychiatric nursing

HCP must have recent med surg experience
