As a Physiotherapy Assistant with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, working in community settings, you will support physiotherapy services for adult patients within general medicine. Operating at Band 4, you will assist with wheelchair provision, telecare, and act as a Best Interest Assessor, collaborating closely with the physiotherapy team to deliver tailored support that enhances patient care and independence.
Assist in delivering physiotherapy services tailored to adult patients in community settings.
Support patients with wheelchair provision and telecare interventions.
Act as a Best Interest Assessor where required.
Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support.
Maintain accurate and detailed records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Contribute to service quality and improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy service.
