Job Overview

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Older People and Integrated Care service at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust – Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Physiotherapist to join an established NHS service on an ongoing locum basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment, supporting older people and contributing to effective multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

•  
• Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients within the Older People and Integrated Care service.
   

• Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and develop appropriate individual treatment plans.
   

• Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to support mobility, function and independence.
   

• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment programmes according to clinical need.
   

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to support effective patient care.
   

• Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning where appropriate.
   

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and NHS standards.
   

• Manage a varied caseload effectively and work with an appropriate level of clinical autonomy.

About You

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist with the clinical skills and confidence to work within an Older People and Integrated Care service. You will have strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills, alongside excellent communication and multidisciplinary working abilities.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team while managing their own caseload and delivering person-centred physiotherapy interventions that promote mobility, independence and quality of life.

Requirements

• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
   

• Previous experience working as a Physiotherapist within an NHS or comparable clinical setting.
   

• Experience appropriate to a Band 6 level of practice.
   

• Relevant experience working with older people and/or within integrated care services.
   

• Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills.
   

• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary working skills.
   

• Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively with an appropriate level of autonomy.
