Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are recruiting an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist for a locum opportunity with Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Trust, based at St Peter’s Hospital. Working within the Surrey NHS, you will join the Therapy Inpatients service as part of the Supporting Therapies Clinical Services team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physiotherapist looking to work within an NHS inpatient setting, providing high-quality physiotherapy input as part of the wider clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Physiotherapy input to patients within the inpatient service.
• Assess patients and identify appropriate Physiotherapy needs.
• Develop and deliver appropriate Physiotherapy interventions based on individual patient requirements.
• Support patients to maximise their mobility, function, independence, and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary and clinical team.
• Contribute to effective patient-centred care and rehabilitation planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and Trust requirements.
• Manage clinical responsibilities effectively within the inpatient service.

About You

You will be an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist with the clinical skills and confidence to work within an inpatient NHS environment. You will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred Physiotherapy and working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Relevant Physiotherapy qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working within an NHS or inpatient clinical setting.
• Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver appropriate Physiotherapy interventions.
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working skills.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care.
