Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are recruiting a Band 6 MSK Physiotherapist for a locum role within North East London NHS. This position focuses on managing a caseload of musculoskeletal patients within a community healthcare setting.

The Physiotherapist will assess, treat, and manage patients with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, supporting rehabilitation and recovery while contributing to effective onward referrals and clinical administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of musculoskeletal patients independently.
• Carry out physiotherapy assessments and deliver treatment plans.
• Provide onward referrals where clinically appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical administration and documentation.
• Use Rio systems for clinical record management and service delivery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Support rehabilitation and recovery through evidence-based physiotherapy interventions.

About You

You will be an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a strong background
in MSK assessment and treatment within NHS services. You will demonstrate excellent
clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.

You will be confident using clinical systems, delivering patient-centred care, and maintaining high
standards of communication and documentation.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience as an MSK Physiotherapist within NHS services.
• Experience using Rio (essential).
• NHS Smartcard (essential).
• Experience with E-referrals desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good IT skills, including use of Excel and email systems.

• Role: MSK Physiotherapist – Band 6

• Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 or 08:30 – 16:30
