Job Details:

  • Highly Specialist Band 7 Physiotherapist required for Community Paediatric Physiotherapy services.
  • Manage an independent and varied caseload, prioritising workload to meet service demands.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining professional and legal accountability in line with HCPC standards.
  • Deliver highly specialist paediatric physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis, treatment and advice for complex conditions.
  • Use advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to guide patient management.
  • Lead on clinical practice initiatives and contribute to service development and pathway improvements.
  • Support implementation of service improvements and quality initiatives.
  • Supervise, train and support junior staff, therapy assistants and students.
  • Contribute to education programmes, clinical supervision and in-service training.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families and carers to coordinate care and support discharge planning.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation, safeguarding and infection control.
  • Ensure safe use of equipment and clinical environments.
  • Participate in research activities and continuous professional development.

Skills / Experience:

  • HCPC registered Physiotherapist.
  • Significant experience within paediatric physiotherapy.
  • Experience managing complex paediatric caseloads.
  • Advanced clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
  • Experience supervising junior staff and students.
  • Strong multidisciplinary team working and communication skills.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (flexible number of days).
