Job details:
Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist required to start ASAP for Community Therapy Wards
Provide assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for patients within a community ward setting
Carry out mobility assessments, develop and deliver exercise programmes, and support discharge planning
Provision of equipment with a strong focus on manual handling (essential)
Work with a broad range of conditions including arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, dementia, MSK conditions, COPD, orthopaedics and falls
Supervision and support of junior staff as required
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and reablement
Skills / experience required:
HCPC registration (essential)
Experience working on hospital wards and within rehabilitation/reablement services
Manual handling and equipment provision experience (essential)
Car driver essential – role requires transporting equipment in own vehicle
