Brief Job Overview

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 6 Occupational Therapists or Physiotherapists to join the Intermediate Care – OPAC service. This role focuses on delivering therapy interventions to support recovery, independence, and safe transitions of care for patients on step-up and step-down pathways.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy interventions for patients on ICT Pathway 1.
  • Assess patient needs and supply appropriate equipment to support independence.
  • Review and monitor patient progression and outcomes.
  • Support the development of Integrated Care Workforce (ICW) practices.
  • Contribute to effective patient flow across services.
  • Deliver therapy support to patients on both step-up and step-down pathways.

 

About You

You will be a proactive and adaptable therapist with experience in rehabilitation or intermediate care settings. You will be confident managing your own caseload and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
 

Requirements

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration (essential).
  • Experience in rehabilitation, community, or intermediate care settings.
  • Ability to assess, plan, and deliver effective therapy interventions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 16:00
  • Full-time hours
