Job Details

Physiotherapist required to start ASAP for up to 1 month initially, with possible extensions. The role involves assessing and treating musculoskeletal patients (surgical and non-surgical) in an outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

 
• Perform advanced physiotherapy assessments of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions to provide a diagnosis and develop individualised treatment programmes.
   

• Take a major role in the advanced assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality, including those with complex and/or chronic presentations.
   

• Determine clinical diagnoses and appropriate physiotherapy treatments, maintaining accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
   

• Hold responsibility for own caseload and a defined area of the service or specific patient group, working without direct supervision.
   

• Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
   

• Supervise, educate and assess the performance of physiotherapy students to graduate standard, working with universities to meet required teaching and practice standards.
   

• Undertake evidence-based audit and research projects to develop own and team clinical practice.
   

• Make recommendations to the clinical lead/manager for changes to practice and contribute to or lead service protocol development.

Monday to Friday, 08.00 – 16.00
