Brief Job Overview
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join their Community Rehabilitation Services based at the Pulross Centre. This role focuses on delivering specialist neurorehabilitation and neurodisability management to patients within their own homes and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake community-based visits to patients in their own homes and other community settings.
- Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions.
- Deliver neurorehabilitation and neurodisability management programmes.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to patient-centred goal setting and rehabilitation planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
About You
You will be a skilled and confident Physiotherapist with strong experience in neurorehabilitation. You will be comfortable working autonomously in the community while contributing effectively to multidisciplinary team working.
Essential Requirements
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Neurorehabilitation experience (essential).
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in an acute neuro setting.
- Previous experience in non-neuro or neuro community rehabilitation services.
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 08:30 – 16:30
