Role Overview

An experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist is required to work on the Orthopaedic Wards at Broomfield Hospital. You will manage a varied inpatient caseload, delivering high-quality assessment, treatment, and discharge planning as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently assess and treat your own caseload as an autonomous practitioner.
• Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based physiotherapy interventions within orthopaedics.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively within the MDT.
• Support, supervise, and teach junior staff, assistants, and students.
• Contribute to audits and service improvement initiatives where required.
• Demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development.

About You

• HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Experience in orthopaedics or acute inpatient physiotherapy.
• Strong clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
• Confident working autonomously while contributing to team-based care.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
