Location: Walsall Council – Blakenall Village
Area: West Midlands Social Services
Rate: £31 per hour (umbrella)
Contract: Locum, Ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09.00 – 17.30
Role Overview
Walsall Council is seeking a Physiotherapist to work across all pathways of Intermediate Care, including reablement, rapid response and rehabilitation beds. This is a varied and rewarding role within a multidisciplinary service supporting individuals to maximise independence and recovery.
Main Responsibilities
Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention across intermediate care pathways.
Work with service users within reablement, rapid response and rehab bed look-after services.
Deliver rehabilitation-focused interventions to support recovery and independence.
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Contribute to discharge planning and onward care pathways.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
Some community physiotherapy experience essential.
Experience working within MDT and rehabilitation settings desirable.
Postgraduate experience preferred due to the complexity of caseloads.
Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
