About the Role
An experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist is required to join the acute therapy team, providing support on the hospital’s escalation ward. This role focuses on delivering effective, patient-centred physiotherapy for individuals with a range of acute medical needs.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatments for patients on the escalation ward.
Work within an acute medical environment, supporting rapid decision-making and patient flow.
Develop and implement tailored treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Liaise closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care planning.
Contribute to discharge planning to support timely patient transitions.
Skills & Experience
Acute medical physiotherapy experience (essential).
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced MDT environment.
HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
