Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the adult inpatient and community teams. This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality physiotherapy across acute, respiratory, and general medical settings, supporting patient recovery, functional independence, and safe discharge.
Undertake physiotherapy assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for adults in inpatient and community settings.
Develop and implement individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients with respiratory and general medical conditions.
Support patients to regain mobility, functional independence, and confidence following illness or hospital admission.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated, patient-centred care.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance physiotherapy practice.
