Job Title: Physiotherapist – Band 6 Area: Tyne and Wear NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: To start asap. Dynamic and innovative Physiotherapist required for Orthopaedic In-patients Team. The post holder will work alongside members of the Physiotherapy team and the wider multidisciplinary team, delivering physiotherapy to effectively treat a variety of different conditions and pathologies on the Orthopaedic Inpatient wards and Day Case Unit – including Elective and Trauma patients, facilitate hospital discharge and provide rehabilitation towards patient centred goals. The post will include using evidence-based, patient centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions and maintain associated records for patients with multi-pathology and complex needs.
The post holder would also have a responsibility for managing own specialist clinical caseload and be required to work flexibly across all aspects of the service, including seven day working.
