Job Title: Specialist Physiotherapist – Band 6 Area: Somerset NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract Length: Ongoing Job details: Community services. To provide high quality patient-centred care and specialist Assessment and treatment to persons referred to the West Mendip Community Rehabilitation service (CRS). To provide physiotherapy treatment and advice for patients referred to the team. Community rehab experience, to include falls, frailty, MSK, Neuro. Participate in Triage where patients are triaged and assessed as appropriate for the CRS team or referred onto more appropriate services. To provide advice regarding the support and treatment of patients, to families, carers and other members of the MDT. Responsibility for a caseload of patients and refer on or discharge as necessary. Carry out triage autonomously but with the ability to seek support and informal and formal supervision from Senior Therapists within the team. To support junior staff and students as appropriate.
