Job Title: Physiotherapist – Band 6 Area: Essex NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Physiotherapist required to start asap for 12 weeks. Early Supported Discharge Team, Stroke & Neuro. JD available on request:Physiotherapist to join specialist stroke and Neurological rehabilitation team. The role will involve providing Stroke and Neurological rehabilitation in an inpatient ward as well as a community setting within the Stroke Early Supported Discharge Team (ESD). We are looking for someone with considerable neurological and community experience who is keen to continue expanding and developing their skills. The ideal candidate will have postgraduate training within neurology, the ability to effectively manage a complex caseload of patients, excellent time management skills and the ability to work under their own initiative. This position will provide excellent opportunities to develop critical experience and leadership skills along with working within an extremely supportive team. The Trust is committed to promoting continuing professional development along with looking at new and creative ways of working. A flexible approach is required to accommodate the changing needs of the service along with the drive to influence service development.
