Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is seeking a qualified and experienced Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join the distribution team. This role offers the opportunity to support safe and efficient medicines management, working closely with pharmacists and the wider pharmacy team to ensure timely supply and adherence to regulatory standards.
Assist in the preparation, dispensing, and distribution of medicines within hospital or community pharmacy settings.
Work under the supervision of pharmacists to ensure medicines are managed safely and effectively.
Support the pharmacy team with stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.
Contribute to service improvement, audit, and quality assurance initiatives within the pharmacy.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, patient-centred care.
